About this Opportunity
Nourish Meals on Wheels offers practical ways to support homebound neighbors through meal preparation, delivery and office work. There are also at-home projects, including making cards and small gifts. Some assignments provide recurring help, while others offer a one-time way to contribute.
Most opportunities take place on weekdays. Delivery routes generally take less than two hours after meal pickup, but preparation, office work and at-home projects have different expectations. Use the volunteer page to discuss a specific assignment before choosing your commitment. Driving has additional requirements, listed below; those requirements should not be assumed to apply to every volunteer role.
What to know
Drivers must be at least 18, have a driver’s license, insurance and their own vehicle, and complete a background check.
Driver roles involve repeatedly lifting 25 pounds. Requirements for other roles differ.
