Part-Time Technology Teacher

Part-Time K-3 Spanish Teacher

St. Thomas More Catholic School is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher for grades K–3. We are looking for a candidate whose relationship with Jesus Christ is central to their life and who teaches and models the morals, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church. The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for forming students in both faith and academics, and is committed to fostering a positive, joyful, and disciplined learning environment.


Candidates Must:

  • Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Archdiocese of Denver curriculum.

  • Create a classroom environment that fosters respect, enthusiasm, and a love of foreign language while maintaining consistent behavior expectations.

  • Incorporate a variety of instructional methods to address the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including differentiated instruction as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

  • Current state teaching licensure or willingness to obtain licensure within 18 months of hire.

  • Proficiency in Spanish fluency

  • Strong classroom management skills and an ability to maintain consistent expectations.

Part-time K-2 Teacher Assistant

The K–2 Teacher Assistant supports classroom teachers and students by providing instructional assistance, supervision, and logistical support. This role works closely with teachers to help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment for young students.


Candidates Must:

  • Work with individual students to reinforce academic skills and support learning needs under the direction of the classroom teacher

  • Assist with small-group instruction to support literacy, math, and other classroom activities

  • Support teachers during classroom activities by helping students stay engaged and on task

  • Assist with recess and lunch supervision to help ensure student safety and appropriate behavior

  • Prepare classroom materials, including copying, organizing, and assembling instructional resources

  • Compile materials and assist with preparation for classroom projects and activities

  • Provide general classroom support, including organization of materials and learning spaces

  • Assist teachers with other duties as assigned to support the daily operation of the classroom and school

Parish Opportunities

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Coordinator

Job Location: St. Thomas More Catholic Church

St. Thomas More is seeking a faith‑filled, mission‑centered Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Coordinator to guide, form, and shepherd our Level I–III atria. Rooted in the life of the Church and the Montessori tradition, this ministry invites children into a profound encounter with the Good Shepherd. The coordinator will provide prayerful leadership, thoughtful organization, and pastoral care so that every child may grow in holiness, wonder, and intimacy with Christ through the CGS method.


Hours:

Part-time, non-exempt. An average work week of 20-25 hours with an expectation of work during CGS Sunday classes (8:30-11:30am), and Tuesday classes (4:00-6:30pm). Weekly hours can reach up to 40/week during high workload times.


Candidates Must:

  • Must have prior experience as a CGS catechist, preferably at least 3 years’ experience

  • Preferably certified and experienced as a catechist in Levels 1-3.

  • Desirable to have prior experience managing/coordinating a CGS program at the parish level.

  • Be a fully initiated Catholic in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043).

  • Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Archdiocese of Denver, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.


Requirements:

  • Order and make educational materials for catechesis classes and recruit volunteers to assist in this effort

  • Work with Office of Catechesis to plan and carry out required parental sacramental preparation meetings and retreats.

  • Help set up and carry out sacramental celebration practices and masses for children in faith formation programs.

  • Coordinate with the Department of Catechesis to create a CGS budget and adapt as needed.

  • Provide service opportunities for parishioners and the greater community to help make catechetical educational materials.

  • Plan, purchase, prepare, and implement crafts during VBS.

  • Staff the informational table in the narthex during catechesis registration weekends leading up to the start of the catechetical year.

Assistant Accountant II

Are you an experienced accounting assistant looking to make a difference working for a Catholic parish? Are you ready to bring your accounting talents to bear in service of the Lord?  St. Thomas More Catholic Parish is looking for an Accounting Assistant II.


Candidates Must:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience in payroll and accounting, including accompanying software (Parish Soft and Paylocity preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Have a positive and supportive attitude toward the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work. Refrain from public promotion or approval of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the parish, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.


Requirements:

  • Serve as backup to our Payroll and Accounts Payable staff which include entering accounts payable invoices, printing and mailing checks and validating that STM accounting policies are followed, and general ledger activity is accurate.

  • Learn and assist with our payroll process on our payroll software, Paylocity.

  • Serve as backup for our Data Manager with Includes learning our Camino data management software and Parish Soft Giving online donation tracking software.

  • Post weekly collections and balance monthly with the Accounting Manager.

  • Generate monthly and annual reports and statements and thank you letters.

  • Enter, update, and maintain all parishioner information.
