Care for the Sick, Visit Those in Prison
Emmaus Catholic Hospice
Offer companionship to hospice patients or help with administrative work.
About this Opportunity
Emmaus Catholic Hospice welcomes volunteers in two areas: administrative support and direct patient visits. Office volunteers may help with filing, phone calls, mailings, data entry and greeting visitors. Patient visits focus on companionship and may include reading, games, music, light housework and prayer when requested by the patient or family.
Volunteers complete a structured onboarding and education process before serving. Contact the volunteer coordinator to discuss which role suits your interests and availability, then follow the organization’s registration process. The preparation below applies to all volunteers according to Emmaus’s published guidance; confirm current arrangements with the coordinator.
