Srodowisko-Young Adults Retreat (Ages 18–35)
Friday, June 6–Saturday, June 7:3:00–3:00PM at Mother Cabrini Shine, Golden
When Saint Pope John Paul II was a young priest, the Communist Party restricted the practice of Catholicism. In order to administer the sacraments freely, JPII brought groups of young adults up into the Polish Alps, escaping communism for the weekend and diving deeper into their faith. This is where the word “Srodowisko” comes from–it means a type of close-knit community, which is exactly what we will be focusing on this weekend!
