Hey, high schoolers! St. Thomas More High School Youth Ministry welcomes you!

While your schedule is overflowing and life can get a little hectic during these four years, STM offers a place where you can grow in relationship with Love and Truth incarnate and belong in our community.

We offer weekly Breakaway youth group, YDisciple small group ministry, service opportunities, special events, a mentor program that allows you to guide and connect with middle school youth and more. We go on unforgettable, life-changing retreats and mission trips: one local, one regional and one international each year. We commune with worldwide Catholic youth on World Youth Day trips. Also, we give back through our talents in Youth Music Ministry.

You’ll find something here for you to fit your interests, schedule and where you are in your faith journey. Join in this powerful adventure. Make your high school experience a good and memorable one in the Lord!

Youth Mass: Sundays at 5:30pm

Liturgical ministers include the St. JP2 Youth Choir, youth lectors, ushers, greeters, and more.

Youth and families are invited to join us in worship at the Youth Mass every Sunday! This Mass features energetic Youth Liturgy, and vibrant contemporary songs of praise. Come and open the Word of God with us. Hear the messages of God’s love through enriching, relevant homilies. Share the heart of our Catholic faith in the Holy Eucharist. Receive these gifts and more, in the company of your peers!

This is also an opportunity to hear youth announcements and learn of the youth opportunities in the parish. All are welcome!

STM High School Youth Ministry offers mission trip opportunities through our Alternative Spring or Summer Break program. We have mission trips to introduce our youth to mission and service opportunities.

Just as Jesus needed to retreat and change His scenery to worship at His best sometimes, we too can benefit from getting away for a while to truly focus on God’s words to us and our hearts.

STM High School Youth Ministry offers retreats during the year — some local or on-site, and some at off site destinations. Retreats are some of the most powerful experiences proclaimed by participants and we invite you to a similar journey to grow closer to the Lord.

We also host occasional pilgrimages and we always take groups to World Youth Day.

Select Thursday evenings throughout school year, see calendar for dates and times. Sign up at the Youth Table in the Narthex. Spots are limited, first-come-first-serve.

“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'” (Mt. 25:40). Every month, we offer one High School service opportunity to visit the Samaritan House Holy Rosary Soup Kitchen. You’re invited to serve dinner to women without homes and help set up their sleeping area. You also get to interact with the women residing in the shelter and get to know them.

Project 600 – A massive annual Christmas party for inner-city kids from some of the poorest areas of Denver. This project incorporates volunteer preparation for the event, as well as generous parish toy donations as Christmas gifts for the kids. Click here to learn more.
