Blessed Elisha of St. Clement

Elisha was named Theodora (gift of God) at her baptism. The night before her First Communion she dreamed of St Therese of the Child Jesus who told her, “you will be a nun like me”. She became a Third Order Dominican and three years later, under the direction of her confessor, joined the Carmelite Community taking the name Sister Elisha of St. Clement. Elisha took her final vows in 1925. She died two years later on Christmas day at the age of 26.
