EUCHARIST

St. Thomas More Catholic Parish is a sacramental community and the Eucharist is the source and the summit of the Christian life. All that we do here at St. Thomas More flows from Jesus Christ.

“The Holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord’s own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist.” – Catechism of the Catholic Church 1322

“The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the Christian life.’ ‘The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.'” – Catechism of the Catholic Church 1324

To receive their first communion children take part in sacramental preparation classes in the Restored Order Program. The children are prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Come Pray in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

We are blessed at St. Thomas More to have an adoration chapel with perpetual adoration. You can stop by to pray any time, but if you would like to sign up for a weekly hour please email here.

The Adoration Chapel is located behind the church and is easily accessed from the school parking lot. In that parking lot we have spaces reserved for people coming to pray at the Adoration Chapel.
