For people age 7 and older who would like to be baptized, they prepare to receive Baptism through The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).  This is the process through which interested adults and children age 7 and above are introduced to the Catholic faith and way of life.  The participants attend weekly classes from September through May on Sunday mornings.  Their actual Baptism occurs at the Easter Vigil – the Mass celebrated the night before Easter Sunday.
