PROMOTIONAL SUBMISSIONS

We ask that all event and program submissions be turned in 10 business days prior to publication. Please note that submissions are subject to approval and may be edited for clarity and availability of space. Focus on who your audience is as you write the description for your announcement and consider the size of your audience when selecting the appropriate promotional media. Please complete this form only after you have reserved your event or program in the room scheduler. Thank you!

•  The announcement of your event or program will be published in the Sunday bulletin

•  Number of announcements published will be determined by size of the audience, event timing and space availability

•  Focus on the specific audience when writing the description of the event or program

•  Limit word count to maximum of 40 words

•  Printed document highlights key elements of your event or program

•  Information from event or program description will be used

•  Please include an appropriate image if available

•  Can be used as handouts and/or posters

•  Size: 8.5 x 11

•  Printed document highlights key elements of your event or program

•  Poster will be displayed on selected campus bulletin boards

•  Size: 11 x 17

•  PowerPoint informational slide viewed before and/or after weekend Masses

•  Availability is dependent upon the timeliness of the event, size of the anticipated audience and the number of slide requests per weekend

•  Verbiage will be limited with reference to details noted in the bulletin

•  Please include an appropriate image if available

•  A call to action is the primary focus of the pulpit announcement

•  Availability dependent upon timeliness of the event, size of the anticipated audience and the number of pulpit announcements requested per weekend

•  Verbiage will be limited with reference to either a call to action or to reference the bulletin for details

•  Announcement will be posted on the website(s) calendar(s) depending upon the audience. Websites: parish, school and youth

•  “Featured Event” on the home page is used primarily for larger key events or programs or event timeliness such as a funeral

•  Please include an appropriate image if available

•  Limit word count to a maximum of 40 words

•  If you would like to request additional media such as brochures, programs videos or external signage, please mention in the area titled “Additional Comments.”

•  These have an extended time period of execution.

•  These types of media require a discussion with the Communications department.

Image Requirements:

•  Must be a personal photo with appropriate license to use. (Please do not upload images found on the internet.)

•  Photo must be approved by those in the photo before publication, especially if children are included.

Image Size:

•  Must be at least 1000×1000 pixels.

•  Optimal image resolution is 300 DPI.
