St. Thomas More offers a wide variety of retreats and workshops throughout the year. Please take a moment to review the options below to find the one that will help nurture your relationship with our Lord. Parish Retreats and Workshops
Welcome Retreat (CRHP 2.0)

Welcome is an overnight retreat that helps you make sense of life, develop lasting friendships with other men/women in the parish and fills you with newfound energy and purpose. The retreat includes faith-centered teachings, personal reflection, confession, Mass and prayer. For greater spiritual growth, you will have the opportunity to begin planning and giving the next retreat after you have completed your own.

Marriage Preparation Retreats

Marriage Preparation Retreats are held 3 times per year and are offered to all couples preparing to be married in the Catholic Church.  Attending a marriage preparation retreat is required for couples preparing for marriage through St. Thomas More. The retreat weekend is an in-depth encounter of Jesus Christ through the Sacrament of Matrimony.

Family Camping Adventure

Family Camping Adventure is held once per summer season.  This parish-wide camping trip is an opportunity to experience camping, outdoor activities and fellowship among other Catholic families.

Youth Ministry Retreats
Fall Middle School Retreat

As the autumn leaves change with the season we spend time away from the craziness of everyday life by reflecting on ways to die to ourselves. As we shake off the distractions, we invite a renewal in Christ. Middle School youth are invited to spend a weekend in October at the Stone Canyon Outdoor Ed Center in Roxborough Park, CO (about 45 minutes away from St. Thomas More).

Mountain Maddness Middle School Retreat

Living up to its name, this retreat is the most anticipated retreat of the year! Over one-thousand Middle School youth from the Archdiocese of Denver gather on President’s Day Weekend at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO (about two hours away from St. Thomas More). This is a powerful weekend of high energy speakers and activities, dynamic worship and adoration, and a memorable mountain-top experience to ignite and fan a passion for Jesus Christ to be cherished and lived in our everyday life.

Lenten Retreat

As we approach Easter, we spend examining our Lenten experience and reflecting on ways to carry out our growth in this season to be continued and celebrated with the rising of our Lord. This two-day overnight retreat on Palm Sunday Weekend is on-site in the St. Thomas More Catacombs. We conclude with our parish Palm Sunday walk and Youth Mass.

Life with a Mission

What better way to bring in the summer, than with our heart set on a special mission in Christ, and the momentum to live it out! All Middle and High School youth are invited to this week-long retreat that takes place at St. Thomas More, in mid-June. We kick-off on Sunday evening with Youth Mass and dinner together, and then we spend the next few evenings through Thursday by breaking into our theme nights. We conclude this rollercoaster of a week through Friday with our optional day-long trip to Elitch Gardens! We’re in for a week of fun and games in the sun, praise and worship, vibrant talks, and more.

Winter Park Mission Trip & Bible Sports Camp

For incoming 7th & 8th grade youth only. A Christ-based service opportunity to practice leadership and growth in your faith, as you help teach and coach younger children in sports and lead Bible studies! We also get to visit and serve various parishes in the Winter Park area (about two hours away from St. Thomas More). We take a small group so spots are limited and fill quickly, and this trip takes place in mid-July.
