CHILDREN'S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Programs

Shepherd’s Promise

Shepherd’s Promise is weekly religious education for students in Grades PreK–8 (4 years old by June 1), geared for children who attend public schools, charter schools and those who are homeschooled. We encourage our classes to be a faith community where they not only learn their faith but learn how to express it as well. These include a student-led Mass in the church sanctuary, praying in the Adoration chapel and Saint scavenger hunts in the Devotional Cove. We also hold special Advent activities, Live Stations of the Cross during Lent, and a Marian Crowning in May. Click here to learn more.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is weekly interactive faith formation where children in Grades PreK–6 (4 years old by June 1) explore with hands-on materials to understand the Bible, the Mass, the sacraments, liturgical life and the mysteries of our faith. This religious experience fosters the growth of the relationship between God and the child in a place specially prepared for the religious life of children called the Atrium.
