Check out what's happening in the Youth Music Ministry Department!

• Youth Choir and PIERCED had a beautiful Lent, which culminated in a performance of "The Nazarene" the Friday before Palm Sunday, followed by a glorious Holy Week.  We celebrated Palm Sunday in a special way at LIFE TEEN Mass, led the music for Holy Thursday's Mass of the Lord's Supper, performed "The Nazarene" for a second time on Good Friday, then partied the night away Easter Saturday.  Finally, we raised the roof at the sunrise Mass on Easter Sunday with Fr. Mel!  Alleluia! Alleluia!
  New guitar and voice classes start the week of April 15!  All classes are in the Catacombs Stageroom.  Each student should bring a folder for music, and guitar students must bring their own guitar.
• Voice classes will be on Tuesdays April 15 through May 27, skipping April 29, from 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.   Work on singing the right way.  We will be working on praise and worship music similar to what is sung at LIFE TEEN Mass.
• Beginning guitar classes will be on Thursdays April 17 through May 29, skipping May 15, from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m.  This class is for people who have never played guitar before. 
• Intermediate guitar classes will be on Tuesdays April 15 through May 27, skipping April 29, from 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.  This class is for people who already know basic chords and basic strumming patterns.
• Advanced guitar classes will be on Thursdays April 17 through May 29, skipping May 15, from 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.  This class is for those interested in learning to play lead guitar, melodies and more complicated chords.
