It is from 7-8:30 in the "Parish Center" at Risen Christ (3060 S. Monaco Parkway). The topic is "The Son" and the speaker is Chris Stefanick. Chris is a GREAT speaker and I am sure this will be a very fruitful event for you. There will be praise and worship and adoration. See the flyer attached for more details.

Interview a Seminarian - February 23
Ryan O’Neill is in his 5th year at St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver. Come hear his journey in faith and his calling to the priesthood. Ryan is has a great sense of humor and an amazing faith. This will be a great night to hear about the call, but also to ask your questions to a seminarian.
After Ryan is done speaking, we will play games, eat yummy food and just hang out. Please bring a snack or dessert to share.
Theology of the Body
The first Tuesday of every month the Young Adult Group watches a DVD of Christopher West explaining Pope John Paul II’s the Theology of the Body. Then we break into small groups to discuss the material. The Theology of the Body is a great work based on the 129 audiences (homilies) by the late great Pope. It is a life changing series and all are encouraged to attend.
This excerpt from Theologyofthebody.net explains more about TOB:
"The 'Theology of the Body' is Pope John Paul II's integrated vision of the human person - body, soul, and spirit.
True Love - February 16
All of us love someone (even if it is just your Mom). We also have people in our life that we “struggle” with. God wants us to love everyone and to fully experience his love. On Tuesday we will find out what it really means to love like Christ loves. We will hear about a journey of love and heart ache. It will be a great night no matter if you are single, dating, engaged or married. Join us in the Youth Center from 7-9.
Theology on Tap - February 12

Nuggets Game - February 9
Nuggets vs. Dallas
What would winter be without Advent, Christmas, the Epiphany and NBA basketball? Ok so we could live without it, but it is fun to go and see the Nuggets play. Please join the Young Adult group on February 9th for a great game between our Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks. The game is at 7 pm and tickets are $15. We’ll leave STM at 6 pm if you want to carpool. Please contact Christy Wirtz by February 1st if you’d like to attend: christyw@stthomasmore.org or 303-220-3388 x6 (voicemail only).

Young Adults - Christian Suffering
Everyone suffers. Even God; Christ became Human, suffered and died on the cross for us. Part of the Christian journey is suffering. The problem is WE DON’T LIKE IT!! It is hard to suffer. Harder sometimes to see others suffer, but to be like Christ we must suffer with joy. Tuesday the 12th we will discuss different ways to suffer with joy and try to see the beauty in Christian Suffering. Please contact Christy Wirtz with any questions: christyw@stthomasmore.org or 303-220-3388 x6 (voicemail only).
