The Social Concerns Commission is an umbrella organization encompassing a variety of ministries focused on serving people in need. It includes the following ministries:

Christmas Baskets for Charity

The many ministries of STM donated food for over 400 Christmas Baskets and $6,333 in checks to Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities will distribute our donations to those in need this Christmas. The multitude of ministries at St. Thomas More cover a variety of programs and many were delighted to have the opportunity to help. Many parishioners thanked STM for letting them be part of this effort. This event highlighted the kind and generous hearts of our parishioners.

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to build decent, affordable homes in which people can live and grow into all that God intends.

Angel Tree inspires Generosity

During the weekend of November 21 and 22, STM parishioners signed up to purchase 950 gifts for the Denver area children of mothers and fathers in prison and for teenagers at the Denver Children's Home, Mount St. Vincent Home and Emily Griffith Home. Co-coordinator Dick Rapp said, "Thank God for our very generous STM parishioners over the last 23 years of sharing with needy children through the Angel Tree program."
