Weekly Religious Education
This children’s faith formation program is for 1st through 5th grades structured around weekly classes during the school year from September through April. Each of these small to moderate size groups of children are led by two catechists. These volunteer parent-teachers help their students participate in faith-filled instruction and activities designed to help the children:
1. Come to an understanding of our Church family's story in Scripture and in the lives of the saints.
2. Learn the beliefs of the Church that have been passed down through generations.
3. Experience how we celebrate as Catholic Christians throughout the liturgical - church year.
4. Grow in holiness through a life of prayer. Included in the program is voluntary parent participation in classroom activities as well as charitable and other projects.
Sessions offered are Tuesdays 4:30-5:45 P.M. or Wednesdays 6:30-7:45 P.M.
Reconciliation once a year.
