Middle School Option

This is a home-based, parent and sponsor taught program that begins with an initial parent meetings in May of each year. The program continues with 2 parent-sponsor candidate workshops and student interaction and participation in Crossfire/The Edge, the parish's middle school youth ministry program. Additionally, each child participates in one or more spiritual retreats, charitable service projects, and prayer experiences. Pre Registration is highly encouraged to ensure materials are available and a sacramental fee of $50.00 for each child will be collected at that time. Please also bring a copy of your child's Baptismal and 1st Eurcharist certificate.

The Middle School Program begins in May and culminates with reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation in late October or early November. This program is for children who will be in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the Fall of each year.

High School Option

High School Confirmation Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 - Students use the Catechism and Scripture, attend a retreat and become involved with parish and community service opportunities. Three options for preparation are available:

1) Sunday Morning Program - Meets weekly on Sunday mornings, September through April, 10:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. A fee of $125.00 will be collected at the time of registration.

2) Summer Program - An intensive confirmation preparation program for those who will be in high school in the fall of 2008 as well as those graduating this spring. The program meets July 15 throught July 29 and includes classes, service projects and a retreat. All students must attend the entire program. No exceptions will be made. Regstration continues through May 12. A fee of $50.00 will be collected at the time of registration.

3) Home-based Program - Taught by the parents in the home, September through April, with support from the Office of Catechesis. A fee of $50.00 will be collected at the time of registration.
