Demolition begins...

"It's awesome," exclaimed students as the Haselden Construction began demolition Monday, Nov. 5, of the west wall that contained the alcoves for the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph. A new adoration chapel will built centered directly behind the altar. The statues of the the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, along with the Risen Christ and the stained glass windows in the cove will find a new home above the entrance facing the altar.

In addition to the back wall, the ceiling also came out as well as the glass windows and all the pews. "There's no turning back now," said Father Andrew Kemberling, pastor. The church as many have known it for the past 25 years is now a hardhat area.
