Confirmation as defined by the Catechism of the Catholic Church is one of the ensemble of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Church, together with Baptism and Eucharist. Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church (CCC 1285).
St. Thomas More provides two opportunities for high school students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation - Summer or Fall Sessions. Classes are full of fun, excitement and friendship. We educate youth in Scripture, prayer and the sacrament, as well as promote engagement in the parish community and service to the less-fortunate. Our program is well-rounded and concludes with a ceremony in the Spring.
