Jere Allen - Director

Jere has been working at St. Thomas More since the 1980's. She began teaching religion classes and eventually became the chairperson of the Religious Education Commission.

In 1987 she was hired as the Director of Catechesis. Besides being Director of Catechisis, Jere is also Director of the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Facilitator for Tuesday Bible Studies and Coordinator for Parish Missions.

Jere holds a permanent certificate from the Archdiocesan Catechetical and Biblical School in Denver. She graduated in from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and in 1972 earned a master's degree in education from Arizona State University.

Jere and her husband, Frank, have two adult children. She loves her ministry and says that each day bring its challenges and joys.
