Bishop Conley Pitches More Than Good News

On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Bishop James Conley, auxiliary bishop of Denver, threw out the first pitch before the Rockies-Nationals game at Coors Field.

We in the Archdiocese of Denver are truly blessed! Not only do we have good and holy shepherds, but it looks like we also have another lefty on the mound.  Does it get any better than that?

Rockies won that game, beating the Washington Nationals 4 -3. Maybe the Rockies should have Bishop Conely throw out more first pitches.
