Mission Trip to Peru!
“Last July, a group of 17 high school youth and adults from St. Thomas More Youth Ministry traveled to Peru on the annual Alternative Summer Break mission trip. During our time in that country, we were able to help build a library in Pamplona Alta, one of the poorest slums of Lima, working alongside members of that community. Toward the end of the trip we traveled into the mountains to visit Machu Picchu, the ancient Incan city.
Monthly Soup Kitchen
Middle school and high school youth are invited to attend the Broadway Assistance Center soup kitchen on the 4th Thursday of most months. Meet at the Youth Center at 3:45pm - we will be back by 7:45pm. Space is very limited, so you must sign up on the Youth Table and grab a permission slip (or download the form attached below). It is important that Sue knows you're coming, or we may not have room for you. Contact Sue for more information.
