World Youth Day is an annual celebration of the Catholic faith with the Pope and young people from around the world. Every two to three years, WYD is an international festival, hosted by a different country each time. To hear some of the stories of past WYD experiences, please see the documents before for excerpts from Sue Frank's pilgrim journal (Sydney, Australia in 2008) and an article by Rachel Clark (Madrid, Spain in 2011).
Mission Possible Spring Break Mission Trip
Shiprock, New Mexico
March 24-31, 2012
Application deadline extended: if you're interested, please talk to Sue ASAP
Why not choose a different kind of Spring Break experience this year? Mission Possible is a great opportunity to serve and live in a different part of the U.S. This year we'll be returning to Shiprock to work with our Catholic brothers and sisters on the Navajo Reservation. When it's all said and done, we receive so much more than we give.
If you are interested in the 2012 trip, please download an application and information below. Contact Sue by email or at 303-220-3388 ext. 3 if you have questions.

Project 600 Inner City Christmas Party
THANK YOU to all who helped make Project 600 possible in 2011. It was a great event, with 630 children served. See you next year!
For over 20 years, St. Thomas More has hosted Project 600, a collaborative effort to throw an amazing Christmas party for 600 preschool children from some of Denver's poorest neighborhoods. Toy collections begin in November. The 2012 dates are already set - please see below.
Advent Formal Dinner and Dance
Don't miss our last event before we take a break for the Christmas holiday! Our most popular dance of the year, the Advent Formal gives everyone a chance to get dressed in their finest and enjoy a celebratory night - Finals are over and Christ is nearly born! What better reason to party than that? Other parishes from the Denver area will join us for the evening. Check back in the fall for details - the Advent Formal is usually the Sunday before Christmas. You can also contact David Tschumper by email or at 303-220-3388 ext. 1.
